Example of how to write and submit exam answers online for the final examination 2/2019 of the Faculty of Law, Thammasat University
1st step : Access Google Classroom
2nd step : Check the correctness of exam questions and answer papers
Students can check answer papers on computer or mobile phone or print them out
3rd step : Start working on the examination
Students can choose to type or write down the answers (This example and the attached video concern the situation where students opt for the writing option). Students may write answers down on paper or other electronic devices, e.g. iPad
Suggestion: use good and clear handwriting
4th step : Scan answer papers
Students can choose to take photos or scan the answer papers. However, the Faculty recommends that students scan the answer papers, since photographing usually results in unclear photos, which make them difficult to read. Please check the sharpness of your scanned or photo files.
Recommended application for scanning: Clean Scanner and Microsoft Lens
5th step : Submit answer files via Google Forms
Students must use @dome.tu.ac.th account to submit answers. Once students have completed filling out the form, click “Submit” and capture the screen so that it can subsequently be used as submission evidence.
- In using scanning applications, students should make themselves acquainted with their preferred applications in advance. In so doing, students should learn how to scan documents, where scanned files would be stored, how to change file names, and etc.
- Quality and resolution of scanned and photo files will affect the sharpness of submitted answers. In this regard, students should find information on how the chosen application functions and how they can adjust its settings. Also, students must make sure that the files are not too large. Otherwise, students may encounter delay or problems during the submission.
- To make sure that the submission can be done smoothly, students should plan on the number of files, pages, and submissions considering the submission conditions the Faculty previously announced.
- One factor that could improve the quality of the answer files is light. Students should scan answer papers in a setting with enough light and avoid shades. Using flash appropriately could help.
