Congratulation to the latest success of Thammasat in Asia's most renowned International Law Moot Court Competition!
Thammasat University represented Thailand in The International Law Moot Court competition "Asia Cup 2017" during 22-23 August 2017. The competition was co-hosted by the Japanese Society of International law and The Ministry of Foreogn Affairs of Japan.
The team has demonstrated outstanding results and awarded The Japanese Society of International Law Award as the first runner-up of the competition.
In the preliminary round, Thammasat Team firstly went against Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and The University of Karachi. The team got the highest total points of the Memorial Round Points and the Oral Round Points, advanced to the Final Round agianst National University of Singapore.
This is the first time a team from Thailand to enter the final rounf of Asia Cup, initiated in 1999. In this year competition, at least 38 teams all around Asia competed in the Memorial Round and 12 of them passed to the Oral Round in Tokyo.

The team was trained and coached by Ms. Thitirat Thipsamritkul and Mr. Phattharaphong Saengkrai, both are lecturers at Thammasat University.
