On 23 May 2023, the Faculty of Law, Thammasat University was delighted to honorably welcome the esteemed delegation from 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑾𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒏 𝑳𝒂𝒘 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 to our Tha Prachan Campus. The delegation was made up of the Dean, Prof. Daniel P. Tokaji, the Director of the East Asian Legal Studies Center, Prof. John Ohnesorge, the Associate Dean for Admissions and Financial Aid, Rebecca Scheller, and the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs, Jason Smith.

The delegation was welcomed by members of the TU Law Executive, including the Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pokpong Srisanit, the Associate Dean for International Affairs and International Programs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Amnart Tangkiriphimarn, the Assistant Dean for International Affairs and International Programs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jaruprapa Rakpong, the Assistant Dean for Quality Assurance, Dr. Keerakiat Pratai, and the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs, Dr. Poonthep Sirinupong. More faculty members, Asst. Prof. Dr. Noppadon Detsomboonrut and Ajarn Saharat Augnistasat, also attended Dean Tokaji’s special lecture session on “Sustaining & Strengthening American Democracy.”

The visit, aiming to enhance the long-standing relationship between the two institutions, was packed with engaging dialogue on various topics to maintain and initiate new opportunities for our students and staff, ranging from the double master’s degree program, the coordinated undergraduate and postgraduate program (the 3+1 program), possibility to establish the summer courses as well as academic staff exchanges. We extend our gratitude to our guests for gracing us with their presence and we look forward to working with them in the upcoming terms.
